Tamsui Old Street runs along the river, and its toilets cluster at a few fixed points rather than spreading evenly: Shihue Ferry Landing, Fuyou Temple, the Zhongzheng tourist market, and around the metro station. The old street itself is narrow lanes lined with shops, with almost nothing standalone in the middle stretch, so mid-visit you end up doubling back toward the river or the temple. Only 6 of the 35 toilets recorded in this area are accessible — a low share — so wheelchair users and anyone with a stroller are better off heading for the station or the market, where the passages are wider. There are, however, 14 with a baby changing table. On busy weekends, going before you walk in makes the visit much easier.
